While I am sick and tired of Christians trying to “save” gays from hell, why are we, as homosexual people, so preoccupied with what Christians think?

This picture of two guys being hanged, was taken in Iran, where two 16 year old boys were killed for being gay!!!! 

This makes me so furious at all the Muslim world that claims they are all about peace!! Fucking women-stoning, homophobic, anti-other-religious, monstrous hypocrites!! 

I’m not saying your little map is wrong, but your little commentary is a bit screwed up. You talk about how no one respects you and your orientation, but you cannot demand respect from someone you aren’t willing to give respect to yourself.

Furthermore, many of those countries that are of the reds and oranges are also secular and made up of people of other religions besides Islam, such as Christianity, Judaism, and of course, whatever other religions the individual person follows, if any. Therefore, saying, “This map shows you which part of the world puts gay people to death! Obviously the Muslim part!” is ignorant, invalid, and asinine. Don’t generalize anything and check your stereotypes into place.

MOREOVER, Islam is not the religion of hypocrisy, women-shaming, or anti-other religions. Islam gave rights to women, over 1400 years ago, in which no other religion, culture, government, etc., ever even considered giving their women. The Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, also said, “You have your religion, and I have mine.” So how is that anti other religions? Practice what you practice and they’ll practice what they practice. 

Furthermore, do not generalize how people practice the religion. There is a huge difference between a religion and how the follower of that religion carries it out. MOST Muslims are peaceful people. Not even 1% of the Muslims around the world are terrorists or a part of a terrorist organization, in fact, only 0.1% of the over 1.7 BILLION Muslims, are terrorists. And if you want to further go into how Muslims are supposedly monstrous, only 6% of all terrorists are ‘Muslim’, leaving thousands of other people to fill in the 94% remaining. So, how can you say we are all hypocrites for calling ourselves peaceful?

Also, before you make a whole little speech about these pictures whilst adding in your own opinions, learn how to differentiate culture and religion. 

I would also like to advise you to open up your mind, educate yourself on other cultures and religions, and then talk. If you think this is ridiculous, fine, but you need to respect the fact that certain countries are against homosexuality for their own reasons. Like I said, you have no right to demand respect from someone if you aren’t willing to give them respect yourself. These countries may be homophobic, but you my friend, seem to be Islamophobic. 

Bitch, I am educated alright! I’ve studied a lot about Islam, and I know very well what your religion preaches! One of the things Koran says is that if a Muslim kills someone of another religion, they automatically gain a spot in heaven for themselves! 

You say no one can respect gays cuz they wont respect themselves? Who gave you the right to make such a nasty statement?? You HAVAE NO IDEA what it’s like to be gay! So shut your fucking mouth whore!

You say that Islam gave freedom to women? Really? Then I assume that all the women who died because of being stoned to death were a cause by some other religion? A LITTLE CLARITY TIME FOR YOU! IT WAS MUSLIMS WHO STONED THOSE WOMEN AND KEEP ON STONING THEM! 

You say that there are other religions in all those orange areas on the “little” map besides Islam? Ha! Christianity is being persecuted in all the Muslim countries like hell! Not only that, but even if there are other religions in Muslim dominated countries, the law is NOT fucking structured over the New Testament or Buddha, that’s for fucking sure!!!! I honestly would have never guessed that you were educated on Islam, let alone the rest of the world besides the country in which you are living. However I get a feeling that you weren’t taught about Islam by an actual Muslim, for all we know, your professor could have hated Muslims. 

I never said that homosexuals don’t deserve respect because they can’t respect themselves. However I did say that you have no right to demand respect from someone, if you are not willing to pay them the same amount of respect. 

I may not be homosexual myself, but I have more than 10 lesbian, gay, and bisexual friends and 2 family members that are gay and 1 that is lesbian. So, even if I am not gay, I know what it’s like to be called something derogatory or hurtful, etc. Furthermore, just because you are a victim to these insults and maybe even physical abuse, that doesn’t give you any right, whatsoever, to exert the same hatred onto others which was exerted towards you by someone else. 

If you are so “educated” on Islam, you would know that the stoning of a woman was never mentioned in the Quran. In fact, people did want to add it into the Quran but the Prophet didn’t allow it to be done, and neither did his companions.

“Umar said: “When this verse came down I approached the Prophet peace be upon him so I asked him: Should I write it down?’ It is as if he hated that” Then Umar said: “Cant you see that if the old man if he commits adultery he does not get the whip, and that if the young man if he commits adultery he gets stoned?” (Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani, Fathul Bari, Kitab: Al Hudood, Bab: Al I’tiraaf bil Zina,Commentary on Hadith no. 6327, Source)

Here we clearly see that the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not want the verse to be written down because it was never meant to be part of the text of the Quran. The scholars of Islam are unanimous that the recitation of this verse has been abrogated but its ruling still remains in effect. 

However, the only reason why Umar got emotional and wanted to put the verse in the Quran was because he was afraid that one day people would think that its ruling had been cancelled. However, the companions did not allow him to because they all knew that its recitation had been abrogated. In order to put a verse in the Quran there needed to be two witnesses and Umar was all by himself. Umar himself knew that its recitation was abrogated but he was getting emotional, for he feared that people in the future would not believe in the ruling of stoning the adulterers. “

By this, we see that it was never a part of the Quran or Islam, rather culture and mostly the personal opinion of some at the time. Cultures and opinions did exist before Islam. 

And really? I know for a FACT that Morocco is of those orange countries, yet there are so many Protestant and Christian French that live in Morocco. Not to mention the Catholic Spaniards that come and go, and the tourists. If Christianity was persecuted throughout the region, Christians wouldn’t even be allowed to enter the region. Sure, some people within the country hate certain groups of people, but that does not mean that everyone does. My friend who is a Lebanese Christian goes to Lebanon every single year and she has never once been insulted for it. She wears a cross on her neck and walks into her Church there, every single Sunday. 

Here is a picture of the Virgin Mary in Lebanon. Although Muslims also believe in Mary, Islam forbids statues, therefore, we know for a fact that this is a Christian site.

Now, although it is not justifiable that all countries in orange do condemn the building of churches, some do, but is that not the same as how Muslims in America and across the ‘west’ are, sometimes, essentially prevented from building Islamic centers and mosques?

And yes, most of these countries that are in orange and red do create their laws based on the Quran…but why is that a problem? You may understand that some non-Muslim people in these countries are persecuted, but you do not understand how majority of the population in these countries look at non-Muslims such as Christians, as their brothers and sisters. 

I also, do have an education, in fact, my parents pay good money for me to be educated so when ignoramuses like you come around, I have accurate statistics and knowledge to prove your biased and supposed ‘facts’ wrong. Furthermore, don’t tell me that I need an education. I am not the one that spells the word ‘arguing’ like this: ‘arguying’. 

Sure, these actions, to you, may have been evil, I will not impose my opinion, however, that does not mean that EVERY SINGLE PERSON in that country, every single person of that country’s race, every single person of that religion, nor the entire religion itself, is like that. 

Moreover, just like America, other countries have their laws about whatever they please. If a country wants to make homosexuality illegal, they are able to do so. That may not mean that their laws are appealing to you or the standards of a society, but if that is the law in their country, then that is the law, just as gay marriage in most of America, isn’t valid. 

I also just researched this law that is being practiced in some countries, and as the hadith, a few paragraphs ago, mentioned, it is ADULTERY that is illegal. Someone can be gay and no one would touch them if they never said anything. However if 2 gays have sex, and officials find out, then it, in the country in which the law is in affect, is illegal. 

Bush was a president, is a caucasian and a Methodist. Under his presidency, the United States government killed far over 17 thousand innocent people across the world. Does that mean that under every president, the United States has, does, and will kill over 17 thousand innocent people? Does that mean that every caucasian has, does, or will kill over 17 thousand innocent people? Does that mean that every Methodist has, does, and will kill over 17 thousand innocent people? George Bush is also evil, in my opinion. Does that mean that now, because he was twice the president of this country, that we, as well as our country, are evil alongside him?

No. 

I also, was not standing up for the fact that these two kids were killed. I was standing up not only for my country, culture, and neighbors, but most importantly, I was standing up for Islam and my brothers and sisters. That, my friend, are things no one in this world can tell me to stop defending. 

Islam is not evil. If it is, I can not comprehend the fact that you are seeing another Islam than the one I am seeing. I never knew there was another Islam, this one being the evil religion you seem to know all about. 

I cannot fu** myself, as it is haram. If you were educated on Islam, you would know that. 

Also, I advise you to learn how to use proper grammar and punctuation and learn how to spell correctly, before you lecture me or anyone else on getting. I nearly choked reading your response to be honest.
